Description: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (initially known as Teenage Mutant Hero Turtles in some European countries) is an American animated television series based on the characters of the same name from comic books by Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird. It is the first adaptation of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. The pilot was shown during the week of December 14, 1987 in syndication as a five-part miniseries, and the show began its full-time run on October 1, 1988.
