Description: This Higgins - Magnum PI Design is inspired by the cult classic TV series starring Tom Selleck as private investigator Thomas Magnum, and featuring John Hillerman as Jonathan Higgins. Higgins is the estate manager for Robin Masters's beachfront estate on Oahu, called "Robin's Nest". Because of the fact that the character of Masters is only heard and never seen, later episodes of the show begin to suggest the possibility that Higgins is in fact Masters.

Description: Manuel is a well-meaning but dim, disorganised, and constantly confused waiter from Barcelona with a limited grasp of the English language and customs. He is constantly verbally and physically assaulted by his boss. He is afraid of Basil's quick temper and violent assaults, yet often expresses his appreciation for being given the position, despite Basil's abusive treatment toward him. On the other hand, whenever Manuel appears sad, Basil is depicted attempting to cheer him up, and even kisses him on the forehead for his aid in ejecting a particularly abusive guest, indicating that he holds at least some loyalty to Manuel.
